Our app offers account upgrades as follows:

– Upgrade to 1 Year of Letterboxd Pro or Patron
– Pro tier adds annual and all-time stats pages based on your account activity, advanced activity and streaming service filters (including the option to pick and filter by the streaming services you subscribe to, powered by JustWatch.com), list cloning and removes third-party ads.
– Patron tier provides all the benefits of Pro, plus a profile backdrop taken from the first of your four favorite films (if available), a listing on the Patrons page of our website and early access to new features.
– Payment is charged to your iTunes Account when you confirm purchase and your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for a renewal up to 24 hours before the end of each current period, at the same annual fee.
– You can manage your subscription and disable auto-renewals in the App Store app following purchase.
– Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Version 2.7.10

— Improves the stability of the app when serving ads for non-paying members.
— Miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes.

Version 2.7.9

– All free users of the app will now see third-party advertising on some screens. The app’s functions and behavior are otherwise unchanged, and ads can be removed by subscribing to our “Pro” tier, for the cost of one-to-two movie tickets per year. We’re a small, independent app publisher and we rely almost completely on the financial support of our community — so thanks for considering an upgrade!
– Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements

Version 2.7.8

– All free users of the app will now see third-party advertising on some screens. The app’s functions and behavior are otherwise unchanged, and ads can be removed by subscribing to our “Pro” tier, for the cost of one-to-two movie tickets per year. We’re a small, independent app publisher and we rely almost completely on the financial support of our community — so thanks for considering an upgrade!
– Fixes some layout issues with the iPad version due to changes in iOS 13
– Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements

Version 2.7.6

– Fixes a bug in the new text composer where comments and bio updates were not correctly passed to the server.
– We’ve rebuilt the text composer view (used to write reviews and list notes) to hopefully eliminate some of the crashes we saw with iOS 13. The new composer saves your progress every ten seconds, allowing you to resume where you left off, in the event you still strike a crash. Let us know how it goes for you. (And yes, we’re aware of the extra tap that’s now required to show the keyboard — it’s unavoidable with the current approach and platform rules, but we’ll try to improve this in a future release.)
– Miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes.

Version 2.6.7

— Improves compatibility with iOS 13.

Version 2.6.6

– Fixes a bug that could cause the search field to disappear when switching between tabs

Version 2.6.5

– Improves compatibility with iOS 13
– Adds specific examples of the benefits of a Pro membership in more areas
– Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements

Version 2.6.4

— Adds links to our top feature and documentary lists in the Search/Browse tab
— Fixes an issue where opening member stats URLs external to the app would show the member profile instead of the relevant stats

Version 2.6.3

— Fixes an issue that could cause the app to crash when rendering right-to-left text.
